The Jones Ballard Property Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryle Irvin as its new General Manager.
Cheryle is a multiple degree qualified business professional with more than fifteen years in executive roles in the Australian and Chinese hotel industries.
Before joining The Jones Ballard Property Group, Cheryle was employed at the Broadwater Hotel and Resort Group as General Manager of their Dunsborough Resort and then Relieving General Manager of their Kalgoorlie Resort.
Prior to that Cherlye was employed as General Manager for the Argyle Hotel Group in China, with seven hotels under Management.
Cheryle says that her time in China exposed her to an underdeveloped tourism and hospitality industry where she developed unique skills required for opening multiple hotels in regional Asian locations introducing western world best practice and standards.
“In China, my talents extended beyond general hotel operations into marketing, design consultation and successfully developing relationships with government officials and key operators in this male dominated region”
“I am delighted to become the General Manager of the Jones Ballard Property Group, I am confident that I have a unique ability and a very broad range of skills that are not just defined by hospitality and tourism. The advantage that my background gives me is that I truly understand the notion of customer service. My educational qualifications permit me to be able to work in a range of organisations at senior management level, where I am able to develop others, mentor high performers and motivate teams to achieve operational, ethical and business success.
“I am looking forward to using my strong focus of business development and taking the Jones Ballard Property Group to an even higher level of growth and expansion over the coming years,” she said.
