Jones Ballard Celebrates First Six Months with $100 Million in Sales 30 October 2007
The Jones Ballard Property Group in Como has celebrated the first six months of its establishment with nearly $100 million in property sales.

Jones Ballard was established in April 2007 after the merger of Nik Jones Realty and Quinn Ballard Real Estate Agents.

Garry Holmes, General Manager of The Jones Ballard Group said that over the last six months, the company has sold over 150 properties with an average selling price of around $660,000.

“Our company has grown from strength to strength over the last six months with sales average nearly one per day during the past two months.

“The riverside suburbs of Como, South Perth, Applecross, Karawara, Salter Point and Manning are still booming and our new company has successfully capitalized on these very strong market conditions.

“Overall, the average selling time for our properties is now less than 3 weeks which is more than half the selling time for the overall real estate market.

“Listings in riverside suburbs such as South Perth and Como still remain relatively tight because of the very high demand for properties in these areas.

“For example, it is now very difficult to find any property in South Perth for under $300,000. Even older style one bedroom apartments are now selling for over $290,000 in this suburb.

“The top end of the market continues to boom in these suburbs with around 20% or one in five of Jones Ballard home sales now being in the selling category above $1.0 million.

“Jones Ballard would like to thank all of our previous and new clients for their tremendous support during the past six months and everyone at our office is looking towards 2008 with excitement and confidence for the future,” he said.
